Richard Wolny from Germany is a copy writer and food journalist who has been working in the olive oil business for more than20 years. He is the organizer of the “Experience the World of Olive Oil” show at Biofach, the world’s leading trade fair for organic food. In addition to this, Richard Wolny oversees the Olive Oil Award of Biofach, which he developed.
Being chairman of the German Olive Oil Panel (DOP) Richard Wolny is part of the German- Swiss-network of panel tasters. He is also a member of juries of internationally renowned olive oil awards, like Olive Japan, Berlin GOOA or Trophée Premium Volubilis Extra-Vierge Maroc.
According to his large network, he is committed to the quality and recognition of olive oil with a focus on Central and Northern Europe
